History and Company structure

Socaco-Biopost-Cofuna consists of several companies, which are either subsidiaries or are totally independent. All of these companies manage their own development within the Group’s guidelines and adhere to a shared approach to development.

This structure was formed steadily since the 1950s and the group has implemented a policy of cooperation and partnership with selected foreign manufacturers to further consolidate its global presence.

Socaco-Biopost-Cofuna benefits from an experience of over sixty years in biotechnology in the agro-industrial field. Its creation followed research conducted in particular by Professor Prévôt (Head of Department at the Pasteur Institute and member of the Institut de France) in the selection of bacterial strains for the inoculation of soil and organic matter.

Socaco-Biopost-Cofuna, present today on five continents, has an internationally recognised reputation.

Its underlying research and experimentation in the field of microbiology and its knowledge in the field of soil biology enables Socaco-Biopost-Cofuna to provide  technical and commercial assistance second to none.
